May!

Last weekend we got to go our good friends wedding! Mrs Clara Brown! It was a beautiful wedding and we were so glad to get to go!! Congrats Chris and Clara!

Earlier last week some of our interior design friends from Baylor got together for a reunion!! It was fun to exchange stories and hear what everyone is doing now and how different it all is than when we were at baylor! We missed you Ellie to make our group complete!

SO Friday we had a little unexpected trip to the ER. My awesome, hardworking husband was aerating our lawn friday evening when I got home from work (he is the best at yardwork and i must say the yard looks very nice) and after he had complete finished, he was going back through, poking holes in the ground where he thought he had missed spots and accidentally didn't pay as close of attention as he had been and poked through his SHOE and then directly ALL the way through his FOOT! It came out the other side..yea. So needless to say...after some blood and a towel and taking a good look at the hole in his foot....we headed to the ER. We were so lucky to have the ER all to ourselves haha. We learned that puncture wound is the "dirtiest" type of wound and has the highest risk of infection so they can't stitch it up otherwise the infection would be caught inside. After X-rays and the doctor saying he got very lucky and didnt hit a bone and nothing was caught in his foot. They gave him a shot, butterflied his hole in the foot and gave him lots of meds to prevent infection.

I totally forgot to get a picture of the hole but here is the aftermath!

He is feeling MUCH better and it has already started to heal! We went to Stephenville this weekend for Mother's Day!

Got back to McKinney and headed out to work today! Monday's are always the hardest. Lets have 3 day weekends all the time!

I asked Jeremy to fill me up a little bag of wheat thins to go with my soup for lunch today and this is what I got in return ;) A bag of goodies!!! haha Thanks dear
