A celebration dinner!
Really, I just wanted to cook dinner , BUT in this case we had a legit reason for celebration!!We have signed the papers on an official offer for our first home! After we find out how it all plays out I will post more details! As for now, we love the home and are so excited to have this opportunity!!
Our very first dinner as husband and wife, I made homemade mashed potatoes and "chicken supreme" with Sister Shubert rolls! And from that point on, this has been Jeremy's FAV meal!
Garlic Mashed Potatoes:
1 Cup milk
1 stick butter
Garlic
Parsley
Salt
3-4 Potatoes
1. Boil Potatoes until soft
2. Blend potatoes with all ingredients until desired consistency, tasting as you go along until you find the perfect taste ;)
Chicken Supreme:
3-4 Chicken Breasts
Lemon juice
Parsley
Garlic
1/2 Stick Butter
Cracker Crumbs
Grated Cheese (Monterrey Jack is my personal fav)
1. Heat butter, adding garlic and parsley to taste
2. Mix cracker crumbs and cheese, about 50/50 mixture
3. Dip chicken in butter mixture, then roll in cracker crumb mixture.
4. Top the chickens off with the rest of the cracker mixture
5. Cook at 350 for 30-40 mins
I've always wanted to try homemade brownies.... So i braved up and did it!!
2/3 Cup butter
5 oz unsweetened baking chocolate
1-3/4 cup sugar
2 t vanilla
3 large eggs
1 Cup all purpose flour
1. Heat oven to 350
2. Melt butter and chocolate, stirring constantly
3. Beat sugar, vanilla and eggs on high for 5 minutes. Beat in chocolate mixture, scraping bowl occasionally. Beat in flour just until blended.

4. Pour into greased dish and bake 40-45 mins

Frosting (if desired) Which Jeremy desires ;)
Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup butter
2 t vanilla
3 oz unsweetened baking chocolate
3-4 tablespoons milk
1. Beat powdered sugar and butter with spoon or electric mixer on low speed until blended. Stir in vanilla and chocolate.

2. Gradually beat in just enough milk to make frosting smooth and spreadable. If frosting is too thick, beat in more milk, a few drops at a time. If frosting becomes too thin, beat in a small amount of powdered sugar.
The final product!!!
They were SUPER rich but SUPER good!!!!

So excited to see your a fellow blogger too!! And thanks for sharing your brownies with us. They were delicious!!
