2 Months....

Two months ago today....was our wedding day! 2 months is a short time but we've learned so much!

Here's a the top ten things we've learned over the past 60 days:

1. Boys leave their clothes...right where they take them off. There's no such thing as a hanger, or closet. But there is a wife

2. Girls like to use the kitchen table as a dinner table, not the coffee table...where the TV is.

3. Jeremy talks in his sleep sometimes

4. Courtney forgets that there is someone else in the bed a lot, and screams when she realizes shes not the only one there.

5. Doing laundry for 2 TRIPLES your normal laundry stack

6. Courtney's never eaten as much meat as she has in the past 60 days...cooking dinner for a boy means you have to make a real meal,...not just cereal.

7. Talks before bedtime are the best

8. Just being able to see that person everyday means the world

9. Holding hands never gets old ;)

10. Compromise is the winner and the other person is always the most important.

11. Bonus # 11 most important ;) Pray together often

It's been a fun 60 days and we look forward to the next 6000!

In honor of our day, I decided POT ROAST would be a good dinner! mmmm

I've tried to cook all of Jeremy's favorite meals this week before he goes to New York,

Monday: Chicken Enchiladas

Wednesday: Cheesy Bread Chicken and Mashed Potatoes

Thursday: Pot Roast

Friday: Chicken Fajitas

(We eat a lot of chicken ;))

So this morning, my alarm went off at 6:15am. I seared the meat, cut the carrots and potatoes and prepared the yummy pot roast!

This picture was taken at 6:45am...wayyy before I get moving in the morning!!

After 8 hours of slow roasting...it was worth the wait!!
