1st Weekend at the House
Today we unpacked our LAST box.... and then successfully threw all the boxes away.
Friday we had SO much fun having our first guests over! A few couples from our Sunday class made some good food ;) and we grilled fajitas.
Jeremy's becoming quite the grill-master if I do say so myself...they were DELISH

Getting the pre-dinner snacks all ready...Queso...the best recipe ever.. (thanks Gena!!) if anyone wants it! Guacamole from Pioneer Woman and Salsa recipe from my sister-in-law
Saturday, we have been looking forward all week to going to the TCU game with my parents! We had fun BUT the bears did not.
This is what we saw the whole game "TCU first down" AND in the scorching 1000 degree heat. Got a great tan line! - if you like short and shirt tan lines...
But the best part was getting to see my brother Kyle march in the Golden Wave band! He did SO great ;) He's the third one back in the row closest to us! haha I'm sure he loved us taking this pic ;) love you Kyle!
Today was spent with Jeremy doing lots of studying. Yes, we all thought that was over...nope not yet. He leaves tomorrow for California for 3 days for is semi-annual meeting with Forest. Basically just re-training. But he just found out he had some last minute homework to do before he left. He has finished it all and made 100 on all the quizzes ;)
While he was busy doing that...i took that time to finish unpacking upstairs, organize the office, and PAINT the red shelves!!
AFTER!!! Can't wait for the bed to come next week with my parents and this room will be complete! After the paint finishes drying I'll make these shelves look fun! And i decided to set up my keyboard in this room ;) I'm glad it finally gets to be used!
Jeremy's office is at least organized...but still a work in progress. I'm waiting to get some neat wall-shelves to mount behind his desk..
My parents surprised us this weekend with both of our Baylor diploma's framed!!! One is still not hung yet BUT it will be soon...they look great!
Happy work week everybody. Right now, going back to work seems a little awful but just remember perseverance must finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Say a prayer for Jeremy's flight tomorrow to California at 7pm.
