July Weekends!

Summertime this year has been pretty busy and then at times, very relaxing! 2 weekends ago we got to visit my family and meet them in San Antonio for a weekend!! This past weekend we went to Brad Paisley concert for the third year in a row!! and i think i would say this was his best year yet!

Sometimes though, we get a little bored at home and have to find something to entertain us ;) Jeremy MIGHT have put Sam's ears in a ponytail.... it was pretty funnyI have to admit...

She hated it!
But it was hilarious!

The weekend we went to San Antonio, Rebecca was kind enough to keep Sadie and Sam, which worked out great because we had to go through Austin on our way to SA anyways! And it gave us an excuse to see her and Josh!

On the way down there, Sadie got a little car sick... she wasn't feeling so great.

Sam on the other hand...did this the WHOLE way down.
She was so interested in the outside.

We stopped in San Marcos to meet up with my parents and do a little shopping!

Jeremy found a shirt at the Tommy Hilfiger store that he might have owned in the 90's... cute right?

Then we kept heading south and finally made it to the JW Marriott San Antonio!!!

This was the drive up!

I couldn't WAIT to see it, because my design firm actually did all the interiors in a large renovation that was completed last year! It was beautiful!!!

Jeremy had to prop up the swollen knee for a little while after the long car ride ;(

That evening we went to the Alamo Cafe, which is a Bruner family tradition in San Antonio! We went whenever we came through SA when we were little!

We tried to get a family photo, but the first picture, Kyle and Dad were making awful faces, and the second turned out blurry, but at least we all were in it!!

We got updates from Rebecca that Sam and Sadie were having a blast with Sophie!

The next morning, we al headed out to the pool around 10am...which we thought was EARLY! I knew going into it that there were 900 lounge chairs (my co workers had informed me) at this gigantic pool...so I thought that there was no way they would all be taken. But they were. We had to fight our way around to get even a few together! And we ended up not even being close to the pool! But it was still a blast!! They have a huge lazy river and 2 big slides! (they were lots of fun)

That evening we went to the Riverwalk and ate dinner! And somehow I got away from there without taking any pictures! Oops!!

Sunday morning we had to head out from our mini vacation ;( We picked up the dogs in SA and hung out with Josh and Rebecca for a little while!

Sam slept all the way home all over me.

While Sadie was all covered up in the backseat. No car sickness on the way home!

We had a rude awakening on Monday when we had to go back to work ;( My China project is coming along nicely though!

But the weekend did come again!!

I forgot to upload this pic from earlier in July, but we got to reunite with our friends from our pre marital class we took before we got married! Katy and Brooks have moved to Allen and we can't wait to hang out with yall!

This weekend we got to spend some great time with some great friends!! After dinner at cheesecake factory, we went to the Allen Bowl! haha it was very classy.

Needless to say, the guys beat us bad!

Saturday, BRAD PAISLEY!! We look forward to this every year!! This year it was SO hot!

We had great seats, because they were in the shade!! Somehow it was still stifling but i know it had to have been cooler than the sun!

Blake Shelton performed before Brad Paisley and he was SO great. He was such a funny performer and put on a great show!

After a late night Saturday, somehow we did make it up for church Sunday!
