How to make a paper windmill!

How to make a paper windmill!! These cute things can be used for parties, or just for fun! You can also make them with different kinds of scrapbook papers! I made these with brown kraft paper because they will match the party they are being used for.

Excuse the first half of these pictures (they were taken pre-new camera) Start by cutting 4" squares out of the paper of your choice.

Using scissors, cut a straight line from each corner, almost to the middle of the square, but leaving at least 1/2" in the middle

You now have 4 triangles -- poke a small hole in the top left of each "triangle"

Using a brad (they make SOO many different kinds and colors at Michaels) poke through each hole, adding each triangle "wing" below the next

Then finally, poke through the very middle of the windmill with all the "wings" in place on top.

Using ribbon (color your choice), poke the brad through the ribbon and spread either side out on the back of the windmill.

I tied the ribbon to a dowell rod for the windmill to stand on.

TaDA!! You're done! How each can it be?!

A quick and easy party favor, or decoration!!

Enjoy!!
