Kids Bathroom Designs

After yesterdays Nursery post (go and comment if you haven't yet!) I got a special request for Kids Bathroom Designs ;)

I'm not pin-pointing one specific color palette or design, just giving general ideas and thoughts! AND since most of us won't be ripping out tile, vanities and walls to re-do our bathrooms (even though that would be awesome!) I'm just going to stick with things that are easily renovated!

This pictures is just for fun...who's bathroom really looks this amazing?! (this is where the ripping out of walls comes in)

One thing that I thought was a great idea is to mount the hand towels on the front of the vanity...this can be done to any type of vanity really, just find a small towel bar or loop to screw into the front of your vanity if you do not have a drawer in place. This way the kiddos can easily reach the towel!

Beadboard in a bathroom -- If you go with a white beadboard, this will definitely lighten up a small space well. And also, painting the beadboard is a new, and unique look!

Stripes -- love the horizontal stripes in a small area. The lighter stripes look very sophisticated and peaceful

While the more dominate stripes are fun and exciting!

Cantilevering shelves above the toilet is a great idea for storage and decorative needs.

And if you have the space, a ladder shelf is a fun way to store all the necessities!

For one or more kids this is such a cute idea for towel organizations!

Then let the color come in! Choose a fun bath mat or rug to take over the floor in the bathroom. 

As well as shower curtains, they are the fun part!

Lastly, one detail that would be sure to stand out, is in the hardware of your vanity. You can find colored acrylic and glass hardware that make a huge impact!
